i have been selling them in Albany for a couple of years now and
am about to launch a very special "anzac commemorative" set
exclusively for the Green Couture Store.
i will also be selling these at an exciting new stockist in Bunbury, WA

RETREAT, PAINT, RESTORE weekend at my home in Nornalup ....
I am so very excited to share with you my newest venture which aims to
“bring creative and like minded women together”.
As you can see by the flyer below I am hosting my Inaugural
Retreat, Paint, Restore
weekend this August at my home in picturesque
Nornalup on the South Coast of Western Australia.
I am thrilled to welcome Artist Jenni Doherty ( www.jennidoherty.com.au )
on board for this wonderful weekend.
Her enthusiasm for the retreat has been infectious.
I have attended may “Art Retreats” and workshops over the years in paint, wax,
printmaking, stamping, jewellery making, paper craft etc. and for a long time now
I have felt the innate need to provide a nurturing,
open and soulful environment in my home to do something similar.
I want to offer a place for creative women to gather.
A place that gives them the opportunity to come together
to share stories,
create work which inspires them
and generally just “hang out” together.
So, if you (or anyone you know out there) feel like you need a weekend of indulging
in yourself, completely and purposefully, then this is the weekend to mark it your diary
as “time for me” and journey down to the very special environment that awaits you.
Limited places available, so get in quick.
Registrations open on Monday 26th May 2014.

mono prints from my portfolio...
monoprint detail, grasses, 2012, leanne fry
Today I have decided to share with you some of my previous monoprints
that I completed when I was studying Visual Art in 2012.
I was going through my portfolio and these reminded me of
how much I LOVE printmaking. These prints were my first experimentation in printmaking and it did not take long before I was hooked !!

city lights ....
Hi everyone. I have been working on this piece for about 6 months now.......
each time I look at it I have made slight changes.
I have turned it around, added more paper, put more painted details in,
removed or scratched back old pieces that I have decided I didn't like,
layered up some areas with more paint,
found "hidden" pieces within the painting that I have chosen
to highlight and generally really taken my time to get it right.
I FINALLY completed it on Saturday.
Let me know what you think !!
I have entitled this piece "city lights" and it is 90cm x 90cm.
Mixed media on canvas. $550.
Would you like to have it hanging in your home???
Just e-mail me if you would like to "snap up" this, my latest piece.
Happy Wednesday.
Love from Leanne xo
